We have “free speech” in the U.S.
Splendid.
But we all know that nothing in life is actually free; everything has a cost.
The cost of free speech is being held accountable for the statements being made.
When you (or, more likely, I) say something stupid or incendiary or deliberately contrary, and someone says that you (or again, I) am being stupid or incendiary or contrary — that is not censorship.
That is the price you pay.
