About a month and a half ago, I was whining about not being able to find an old friend of mine online.

My wife, neo-luddite in training, had the gall to just look him up in a phone book. Appalling. Don’t know what I’d ever do without her.

Her message on their machine was, as I understand it: “This is Jackie, email Doyce.”

My friend, you see, is a curious sort.

Anyway, it was really good to hear about him, and good news from the Boy’s school, and other than a nasty stomach ache, I’m feeling Much Better Than Dave.

.::.

I have to be at a site doing training tomorrow at 6:00 AM, kids, so don’t mess up the house too much while I’m out.

Upside, when I’m done at 2 in the afternoon, I can go home, which is good, because the lawn needs mowing and I need a haircut. I vow to do both of these before watching Babylon 5 tapes.

Final thought: Dave quotes on his blog: “Next on SciFi: At 6, Star Trek. At 7, Babylon 5. At 8, Farscape. This is SciFi.”

Dammit, I’m calling the Digital Cable people tomorrow.
