For those of you (Dave’s not the only one) who care, I am running bears-cave through AverData Web Hosting.

One of their hosting plans is the Aver100 - $6.50 monthly, 100MB disk space and a truckload of email boxes (with support for mailing lists), plus CGI, ASP and PHP4 support (which is what my comments code uses). There’s are even cheaper setups with fewer bells and whistles.

My account has a little more room in it than the one above, mostly because I felt like simply continuing to pay the same amount I had with Dollarhost, and was tickled that doing this would net me (much) more space. Now I’m simply drooling with extra space because of the Fubar last week (Averdata shamefacedly doubled my already-roomy account as an apology.)

Anyway, techie-note done. Resume your normal veiwing.
